Holy Spirit Is A Person  — Acts 10:19  “While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, ‘Behold, three men are seeking you.’”

John 16:7, 13 “It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. … However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth;…” 

Mark 1:8   “I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20  “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies”

1 Corinthians 3:16   “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”

John Crowder  “The only interaction you have ever had with God has been through the agency of the Holy Spirit.”

Ephesians 2:18 “For through Him (JESUS) we both have access  by one Spirit to the Father.”

Personality:– The pattern of collective character, behavioral, temperamental, emotional, and mental traits of a person. (A Soul)

What Is A Living Soul? Mind:— thinking   Will:— desires   Emotions:— feelings

Omniscience:— All Knowledge  Thinking Mind

Omnipotence:— All Power     Will – Exert His influence

Omnipresence:— All Present  He is felt and He feels  1 Thess. 1:6 “…the joy of the Holy Spirit.”

1. Holy Spirit Thinks

1 Corinthians 2:10-16  “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” 

What are you thinking?

2. Holy Spirit Exerts His Will

Acts 16:6  “Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden (To exert will) by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia.”

What do You want to do?

3. Holy Spirit Has Emotions

Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” 

How do you feel?

Holy Spirit is the blessing of the Father. Holy Spirit is the Godhead with us.

Each of us must have a working knowledge of Holy Spirit.

Philippians 3:10  (NLT) “I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.”

Romans 8:11   “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”

“You may know a man, and have an idea that he is powerful; but to know him and his power over you, is a stage further. … you may have no knowledge of him and of his personal influence over yourself.”  C H Spurgeon

Ephesians 5:18 “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit.”  (AMPC)  “Drink the Spirit of God, huge drafts of him.” (Message)

You can’t purchase or earn Holy Spirit.
