How To See God!

You really have to guard your heart. You don’t guard things unless they are of great value. You are told in the Word to guard your heart above every other thing. Your heart is your believing mechanism. The enemy is always trying to plug up your heart because he knows that out of the heart flow all the issues of life. If he can clog your heart with filth then he knows you will manifest filth in your everyday life. Don’t get offended! Don’t get bitter! Don’t get hurt! Guard your heart!

Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.”
Pure (Katharos) free from corrupt desire, from sin and guilt free from every admixture of what is false, sincere genuine.
Used in Greek literature to describe a metal that was free from mixture
Katharos – defined an army that was ready for battle. They had been purged from the cowards and the discontent.
Purity is not the absence of corruption as much as it is the pursuit of God’s fullness. I can’t rid myself of corruption. I must let the Holy Spirit continue the sanctifying process in my life. You don’t achieve purity of heart you embrace it. You don’t work up purity of heart you pray it through. Religion is mans attempt to reach God. Focuses on the outward. Hypocrisy

Proverbs 20:9 “Who can say, “I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?”
It is not a work of man … it is a supernatural work done by God. If your heart is not dealt with you will never see God. You don’t need repairs you need rebirth.
Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Ezekiel 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
John 3:7 “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.”
Seeing is for the pure. Not for the seminar taker or the meeting hopper.

The impure always see what is wrong.
The pure always see GOD!
The impure are stuck in the natural.
The pure have tuned spiritual senses.

Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Issues (to-tsaw-aw’ ) boundaries, limit, border, extremity.
Your heart condition establishes the boundary of your experience in life.
Four basic exhortations for maintaining a pure heart.

1. Don’t Hide – God knows everything.
2. Don’t Strive – Psalm 51:10 ASK!
3.  Don’t Run – Trials transform 2Tim 3:12
4. Don’t Resist– Cooperate Phil. 1:6

• Thank God for that awesome prayer meeting last night!
• Pray for our youth and children … I think God is about to do something very big among them.
• Pray for the revelation of the finished work of the cross and His great grace to explode in every believers heart.
• Thank God for wonerful things He is doing among us.

Thank God for His passion to make Himself known.

Having a pure heart is another gift? All we do is co-operate with Him? We just cannot fathom such a great love dear Father, we cannot. We are so very very grateful!!! Invade our hearts with such love and release revelation of our salvation at such a greater and deeper level that would cause us to turn aside from every single obstacle, hindrance and work of the enemy to see YOU and your love……Amen! (thanks Ps. Karl for that brief teaching when I came in…tears streaming down my face at the thoughts of our salvation!)

Mahatma Gandi said, “The battle between good and evil is within a man’s heart, and, that is where it should stay.” Mark 7: 20 – 23 “And he[Jesus] said, ‘It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, averice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.'”I pray we all be given the, “new heart”, spoken of in Ezekial 36: 26. If we each take personal responsibility for our own hearts, guard them vigilantly, what a wonderful world this will become. Continuing to pray the directives with you all.

Father, thank you that when we recognize the futility of trying and working to make/keep our hearts clean, we are not alone. All things are indeed possible for You and all we have to do is ASK! Create in me a clean heart! We are deeply grateful for your direction and empowerment last night and know that much was accomplished in the kingdom realm. We are confident that so much more is already rushing towards us right now and this, the year of the Open Door, will be the best yet!

Indeed. May we continue to encourage,edify, give godly and wise council/instruction to our Youth daily and support them and cover them in prayer each day. Thy word oh Lord have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee oh Lord.

(Zondervan Amplified Bible.) Thank you, Lord, for that power packed prayer time with you last night. We know our youth/young adults are going to rock their generation. (Pastor Karl was rocking while the youth were being lifted up in prayer last night – that’s a picture in the natural of what will do in the spiritual, I believe). We ask for and receive your great Grace to explode in all of our hearts and we thank you for it, God. we ask for a spirit of wisdom and revelation, more of who you are God…to know you better. Open my mouth to make you known (testifying and praising you with my mouth) so you can be glorified and make yourself known through me. Thank you Lord , in Jesus’ name Amen. What a sense of family, I felt rush through my hands last night when we all stood together hand in hand as Pastor Karl prayed at the end of the session! I couldn’t help but think “We’re all in this together, really together, to help and encourage one another to grow and understand this mighty God, whom we serve. Big changes are afoot and we’ll need each other to help us understand God’s hand at work as each of us moves into a greater revelation of our God, and as He grows our church to fill the overflow each Sunday. We have ‘tasted and seen that the Lord is good’. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

Out of the abundance of our heart our mouths speak – great heavenly Father thank you that we your people have hearts that are pure. Thank you that we are seasoned and salty able to rightly discern the times in which we live. Thank you for a vibrant community of believers preferring one another, all ages being fully actualized releasing the revelation of your Kingdom upon this earth. To the pure all things are pure, thank you for a pure church free from the limitations of unbelief and darkened understanding. The Spirit and the bride say “Come Lord Jesus” yay God!
