“Healing Communion”

When there is a passage in the bible that tells us why people are ill it behooves us to give it strong attention. 1Corinthians 11:30 says, “For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep (or are dead).” WOW! What is the reason for MANY in the body of Christ being ill? Here’s the full passage:

1 Corinthians 11:23, 27-30 (NKJV) “For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: … Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.  For he who eats and drinks [g]in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.  For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.”

Paul did not receive this revelation form others. It wasn’t a history lesson from those who attended the last supper. He was taken up in the Spirit and received face to face revelation from Jesus Himself.

The reason many in the body of Christ are sick is because they don’t discern the Lord’s Body. They don’t have clear revelation on the purpose of Jesus giving His Body for us and the role that played on our behalf.

not discerning”:— greek word “diakrino”  to be at variance with, to withdraw from, to separate one’s self in a hostile spirit, to oppose

The physical damage that happened to Jesus’ body is a provision for our own physical healing and wholeness.

Just as the shedding of Jesus’ blood has brought about the remission of sin, restoring a right relationship with the Father, the breaking of Jesus’ body is the provision for removing sickness and disease from our own bodies.

When we partake of the bread element of communion we must do it in a manner that expects the revelation of health and healing to be manifest. To not expect healing and health to manifest when we partake of the bread is to withdraw and separate ourselves from the provision of Christ’s body. Therefore many are weak, sick and dead.

The New Living Translation’s translation of Isaiah 53:4-5

“Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

REMEMBER TODAY THAT HIS BODY WAS GIVEN FOR YOU!!!

Luke 22:19-20“And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.ʼ Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the

new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.ʼ”

“The blood and the Spirit always bear testimony together. Where the blood is honored in faith or preaching, there the Spirit works; … He always leads souls to the blood. The Holy Spirit could not be given until the blood was shed. The living bond between the Spirit and the blood cannot be broken.”    Andrew Murray

“The Holy Spirit never brings condemnation He always reveals the blood.”  Smith Wigglesworth

Oct 14, 2014 ABC NEWS“Ebola survivor Dr. Kent Brantly has donated the plasma in his blood to three patients in the last month, echoing what one of his former patients did for him before he left Liberia.”

Dr. Brantley went over with the organization “Samaritans Purse” and was working with those who had been quarantined with the virus. He became ill with the virus … was given a transfusion from a 14 year old boy who had overcome the virus before he was shipped back to the states. He overcame the virus as well!

Dr. William Schaffner“…an Ebola survivor’s blood can be imported into struggling Ebola patient’s body, those antibodies can theoretically help the patient’s immune system fight off the deadly virus. What those antibodies do is bind to the virus. They find the virus and bind to it and prevent it from multiplying further.”

“Here’s how it works: When confronted with a virus, the immune system creates antibodies to specifically target that virus, kill it and keep it from coming back, he said. Once a person has antibodies, they stay in their blood for life.”

Arizona State University School of Life Sciences Ask A Biologist:
“Towards the end of each battle to stop an infection, some T-cells and B-cells turn into Memory T-cells and Memory B-cells. As you would expect from their name, these cells remember the virus or bacteria they just fought.

These cells live in the body for a long time, even after all the viruses from the first infection have been destroyed.  They stay in the ready-mode to quickly recognize and attack any returning virus or bacteria.”

Hebrews 13:20-21“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, …, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you completein every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Colossians 1:20-22“…having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mindby wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight…”

Hebrews 10:2, 10, 18 “For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins…  For by one offering He has perfected foreverthose who are being sanctified … Now where there is remissionof these, there is no longer an offering for sin.”

Cheryl Thomas“I love that the word says that the blood speaks. It says, ‘…the sprinkled blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.’(Hebrews 12:24)It always speaks. The word doesn’t say it spoke and done, but it speaks. It remains a plea on the mercy…”

“…seat in heaven with God and it’s a testimony to us. The blood has a voice. It is the voice of a new system, a new covenant, a new dispensation. Abels blood cries out for vengeance and Christ’s blood speaks of pardon.”

Isaiah 43:26“Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.”

Isaiah 43 25-26  (LB) “ I, yes, I alone am he who blots away your sins for my own sakeand will never think of them again. Oh, remind me of this promise of forgiveness, for we must talk about your sins. Plead your case for my forgiving you.”

The blood will speak by the power of the Spirit to every circumstance in your life!!!
You just have to agree with the proceeding word by getting it on your mouth.
The blood will position you for constant victory!

Revelation 12:10-11 “…who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamband by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

Tears of gratitude came falling down my cheeks as I read out loud Pastor Karl’s health hack teaching to my husband over the intercom. Communion is a Triumphant Celebration, not a time of commiserating with Jesus, feeling sad, or alternatively taking it lightly as just something we do from time to time. We love the statement that the blood speaks! .We need to remember that we receive communion, not take communion. Such a significant difference.
