Operating In The Spirit Of Faith

Faith is a big part of us appropriating every gracious benefit that we possess as a child of God. Healing is one of those promises that we can receive by faith. Faith works. We have to learn how to release our faith in the goodness of God.

Romans 4:16NLT“So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it,”

(AMP) “Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants”

Healing is one of the promises and benefits we have as children of God. We have to learn how we can exercise our faith to receive the promise.

4 Basics Of Faith:
1. Faith Is A LAW. Rom 3:27“…but by the law of faith.”

2. Faith Is A Gift.Mk 11:22“Have (the) faith in (of)God.”
Romans 12:3“God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”

3. Faith Comes Hearing Word
Rom 10:17“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Don’t lack the ability to believe but the knowledge of what to believe.
Isaiah 5:13“…captivity, because they have no knowledge.”

4. Faith Works By Believing And Confessing

Mark 11:23-24
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Romans 10:8-10
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Believing and confessing brings your faith substance into a tangible manifestation.

We are in Christ Jesus. Together with Christ we are related to:
Adam – Racially          Abraham – Redemptively          David – Royally (David Shows How To Release KINGDOM)
{Acts 2:29-36, 12:15-18 / Romans 5:17}

Abraham and David reveal so much to us about operating in Faith.

Romans 4:17 {MSG}   “We call Abraham “father” not because he got God’s attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody … because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do…”

Romans 4:17 {AMP}  “…in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.”

Romans 4:20 KJV“He staggered notat the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Father of Faith.Abraham crossed over into a realm where no man had gone before.
A less than perfect man began to operate out of the same life force as God.
A man expressing the DNA of  God. A man lifted up in the sight of God doing the God sort of stuff.
Declares things that are not as though they were.

Principles of faith are taught. — The Spirit Of Faith is caught!!!

Numbers 14:24“But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.”

David had a heart after God!  He had a contagious Spirit of Faith!

2 Corinthians 4:13  (NLT)“But we continue to preach because we have the same kind of faith the psalmist had when he said, “I believed in God, so I spoke.”— That was David in Psalm 116:10.

Acts 13:22“I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart,which shall fulfil all my will.”

After David killed Goliath he released a Spirit of Faith for others to be giant killers!

2 Samuel 21:22“These four were born to [k]the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.”

Your heart is your believing mechanism.
You need to have a liberated spirit of faith operating on the inside of you.
You determine the climate of your heart.
Your heart is a canvass, the Holy Spirit is the artist, and the Word of God is the oil.

The devil tries to lock up your heart by filling it with fear, doubt, unforgiveness, and unbelief.
Your heart can only be preoccupied with one major emotion at a time.
Provide God with a heart that is fertile soil for His supernatural expression.

7 Attitudes Of A Heart That Manifests The Spirit Of Faith

I.  Heart That Is Always Delightful
Isaiah 64:5 / Romans 15:13
God loves to get around a joyful crowd.
Rejoice in the Lord always!

II. Heart That Is Always Dreaming
Pr. 23:7 / Pr. 29 :18
Your imagination is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
You are moving in the direction of your dominant thoughts.
Make your mind your servant.          

III. Heart That Is Always Determined
Romans 8:41 / Phil. 4:13
God is good!
God has only good plans for me!
God wants to give me good things!
God wants me to enjoy life!

 IV. Heart That Is Decisive
Psalm 37:23
Make up your mind.Get yourself in gear.
Get your foot in the air and God will bring it down.

V. Heart That Is Always Demanding
Luke 11:8   “importunity”
“…and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.”  Isaiah 45:11
God wants you to ask and keep on asking!

VI. Heart That Is Always Declaring
“Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of                                              them,…”  1 Samuel 16:36
Job 22:28 “You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your                                        ways.”
I’VE GOT THIS!!!   Heaven responds to your declarations.

VII. Heart That Is Always Daring
“But Shammah took his standin the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.”2 Samuel 23:11

Take a risk … run at that giant … a mouth full of God’s promise … take down that giant!!!
