Day 9 of 10 Days Of Prayer January 2025
Day 9 of 10 Days Of Prayer January 2025
Pray For Those In Authority:
We are going to experience a great deal of change in the leadership landscape in North America. No matter who is in power the real ability to influence world affairs lies with the church. We are never victims or necessarily those who benefit from one leader or another. Biblically we have the authority and the power to influence our surrounding through prayer. O that we would recognise that truth and exercise or role with wisdom and spiritual acuity.
1 Timothy 2:1-7
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Our prayers can have a profound impact on those who lead us and impact the world around us.
1. Prayer for Leaders Brings Peace and Stability (Verses 1-2)
For kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
Pray Affects Our Everyday Life And Community.
There is a connection between prayer and the wellbeing of our communities.
Our role is to pray. God will act on leaders hearts and it will result in peace prosperity.
2. Praying for Leaders Aligns with God’s Heart and Mission (Verses 3-4)
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Pleases the Lord and results in a climate where Salvation is increasingly possible.
3. Prayer Reflects Our Trust in God’s Eternal Purpose (Verses 5-7)
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,”
We need to place our confidence in God’s plan. He is working towards reconciling the world to Himself. We will not get lost in the carnal struggles on planet earth. We are going to pray and engage God’s purpose. We are partnering with Him in the redemption of the COSMOS!!!
Thanks be to God for the leaders that have been set in place over and around us. We trust you Lord, to speak, to lead and to direct their hearts and minds in accomplishing your agenda.
We trust you as our heavenly Father.
Thy will be done TODAY, NOW!
In Jesus name!
Amen!
We pray for those in authority now and for this coming election. May Canada continue to be a land where the gospel goes forth freely. Raise up godly leaders to glorify you in this nation and around us that your will may be done on earth as it is in heaven..
We pray – God keep our land glorious and free.
Father I know that you uplift leaders you have their heart and we choose to trust you. You know the beginning from the end. We exalt you and give our leaders over to your leading. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
He has the whole world in His hands. Yes, we pray for the leaders who have such a responsibility leading this country of Canada. Prepare us for the upcoming changes in the U.S., Canada and all the troubled areas of the earth. We pray for our municipal and federal leaders. We pray for our leaders at Impact church, all the volunteers. Trusting in our most exalted Lord.
Lord Jesus, thank You for leaders and those in authority in our beautiful nation of Canada, in our lovely province of Ontario and in our beloved City of London. Thank You for Your example of leading with a heart of compassion and love for places and people. We pray that all our leaders would be encountered by Jesus Himself and that their heart posture would be pure, honest, compassionate, full of wisdom and discernment, leading with humility and grace. Only You, Jesus, can move hearts in this way. We thank You for involving us by giving instruction in Your Word for us to pray for those in authority. Thank You that when we earnestly pray, You hear and You answer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Amen

How good it is to live in a prosperous and peaceful country like Canada. I pray that this would be evident in every country in the world this year and that all countries would experience Gods peace and prosperity in Jesus name.
Lord you are the God of the Impossible, move here in our City, change the direction of the leaders in office including our Mayor Josh Morgan to the things that need your attention. Like homelessness, affordable housing, the education system, medical help for seniors, and more jobs. Holy Spirit come and invade their hearts and lives that they would know you. Amen
Amen
May the Lord bless all of the people who are lost, and hurt and scared because of what is going on in our country right now. God look over us and protect us and bring them the love and faith that has been lost. Lord restore us all.
Amen
