DAY 9 OF 10 DAYS OF PRAYER
Family
By : Madeline De Sousa
Family was always a part of God’s plan and He loves it!
“God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.” Psalm 68:8
Family and being connected to people is very vital and important to living a whole life!
Brene Brown mentioned in her book Gifts of Imperfection, that humans are wired for connection, that it is in our biology. And to thrive emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually, we need each other.
“God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.” Ephesians 1:5
“The next revival is going to look like healthy family” – Shawn Bolz
PRAY FOR:
*Restoration and healing of families!
*A healthy and whole body of Christ, a beautiful church that God is building!
*Thank you Jesus that you have already made a home for people and have set orphans in families! And Thank you God there are going to be many people coming to that realization that they are apart of a healthy family!
Father we pray for people to find themselves in community. We thank you for the Body of Christ. There has been such an attack on community with this pandemic. I pray for a restoration and recovery of healthy community. We declare the pandemic is over and that people will find healing and restoration in community.
Dr. Dean Ornish says this, “Love and intimacy — our ability to connect with ourselves and others, is at the root of what makes us sick and what makes us well, what causes sadness and what brings happiness, what makes us suffer and what leads to healing ….” We cast down every barrier to healthy family in Jesus Name!!!
Amen!
Father – we agree with your eternal purposes for our natural and spiritual families. You designed us for relationship, intimacy and connection to be well and fully functioning. We call forth blessing and protection on all Impact families and thank you for placing the lonely in families!
I’ve been declaring Psalm 112:2, “Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.”
Family is so important – I was mulling over the story in the Bible (Mark 10) when parents brought their children to Jesus to have Him touch their little ones. Smart parents! Others thought He was too busy
to take time out for kids. Not Jesus. He took the children into His arms and blessed them.
. How awesome is that!
thank you God that you have welcomed me to your family… praying that in 2022 families will be restored, and the lonely would find a place in your family…
