Day 7 of 10 Days of Prayer
Welcome to day 7 of “10 Days Of Prayer.”
Tonight we will have a time of corporate prayer for our “All Out Sunday!!! Today we want to put into practice the ability to recover all. We will not quit until we see the full restoration of the purposes of God!!!
John 10:10 “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”
Jesus’ purpose for coming was to restore us to life, full and overflowing.
The devils work always begins with theft.
The thing he loves to steal most is God’s Word.
Faith is developed through believing God’s word. With your ability to believe gone, hope is gone, strength is gone and he can then kill and destroy.
What is the enemy trying to steal from you today?
Your: Zeal – Purpose – Marriage – Children – Health – Finances
Don’t ever yield to the lies of the enemy. Stay focused on the word.
The enemy has been defeated and he has no authority. Don’t give him a foothold by entertaining his lies. He is the father of lies.
Colossians 2:15 “[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].
Hebrews 2:14 “…that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death–that is, the devil”
Did Jesus complete his ministry on our behalf at the cross? Did He make the devil of no effect? YES and a big fat YES!!!
Don’t ever let the devil take your stuff. Demand the restoration of all and more.
One of my favourite recovery stories is in 1 Samuel 30. David loses everything and yet in one of his darkest hours he turns to God and gets restoration and more. David was anointed to be be King years before and yet he went many difficult trials before that anointing was manifest.
1 Samuel 16:13 “Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed David in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward.”
Only a couple of days later he would be anointed as King of Judah.
2 Samuel 2:4 “And the men of Judah came and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.”
Often your greatest breakthrough is preceded by your greatest trial.
You Can Persevere Recover All And Realize Your Destiny!
7 Observations From David’s Recovery In 1 Samuel 30
1. Be Still
“But David …” vs. 6
Don’t get angry, run, hide, argue, or blame.
STOP! Don’t act out of your emotions.
2. Strengthen Yourself
“…encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God.” vs. 6
In the middle of this tragedy David was drawing on the resources of God.
“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy
Ghost,…” Jude 20
3. Ask God What To Do
“And David inquired of the Lord,…” vs.8
God is ready to give you a living word.
“When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.” Psalm 138:3
4. Obey His Direction
“So David went,…” vs. 9
Obedience is the acid test of faith.
Only the word you do is active in your life.
5. Stay Sweet
“…and when he had eaten, his spirit returned to him,…” vs. 12
“They shall share alike.” vs. 24
Inspire the discouraged. vs. 6 “People spoke of stoning him”
Feed the Egyptian. vs. 11 “they gave him bread and he ate, and they let him drink water.”
Bless the less resilient. vs. 24 “ so shall his part be who stays by the supplies; they shall share alike.”
6. Be Thankful
“He has preserved us and has delivered into our hands the troop that came against us.”24
Always give glory to God as your source.
7. Share With Others
“Here is a gift for you of the spoil of the enemies of the Lord:” vs. 26
Freely you have received freely give.
Bless others as a testimony of goodness in your life.
God always gives you more than enough so that you have seed to sow.
Often you will find yourself going through your greatest struggle just before a major breakthrough; your greatest victory.
Obstacles will reveal what you truly believe and who you really are. They introduce you to yourself. You will find out what you honestly believe in the face of a problem. In the midst of unbelievable circumstances, believe. Stand in faith! Take back what’s yours.
PRAYER DIRECTIVES:
When you feel everything is lost and you can’t go on … Stop!!! You are very close to the fulfillment of God’s best for your life.
Don’t ever be the victim. You are condemned, by the finished work of the cross, to TRIUMPH!!!
Think of areas where the enemy has tried to steal from you … your family … your church community. Encourage yourself in God and demand your stuff back.
We command health to be restored!
We command wealth to be restored!
We command relationships to be restored!
We command passion to be restored!
Continue to pray for this Sunday Service … “DOORS” … All Out Sunday!
Father God we love you, we thank you that you never leave us or forsake us.We thank you that the Joy of the Lord is our strength, and in that Joy the enemy can not steal from us when we know this JOY. Joy found in no one else but you Jesus. We speak to the that mountain of health that is effecting many right now, we know our covenant rights and we declare health to be restored. The blessing is working today in the lives of believers, we step in and posses this blessing in every area of our lives. We know our enemy, and he has no power over us! We will take back and speak to every mountain that comes into our lives. The mountain of lack must go, the mountain of broken relationships will and must be restored ! For our God is a giving God, and we know all these things you are in favor of! You Lord are a God of increase, not decrease, and you have an expected end for us, a promoting God! Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have you; declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. We declare our Doors for all out Sunday will bring in many who need a future in you, and who need new plans in their lives, family’s without hope, and we believe for the doors to be so wide that many are coming! In Jesus name, AMEN!
Thank you God for your direction over our lives and placing us in the right place at the right time! Let everyone who has heard about “DOORS” experieance Gods love and favour over their lives!
Today, the people of the Living God are reclaiming and recovering the multiple levels of blessing and provision that are our portion in the Kingdom! We put a fresh demand on the promises and assurances of God Almighty to His sons and daughters and insist that the enemy release and return anything damaged or stolen from us. The restoration already accomplished through Jesus is not in part, not lacking and not inconsistent. It is in truth, overabundant and completely fulfilling!
Proverbs 6:31 Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house.
Believing pay back lord God for th goods and relationships which have been stolen from the church and all its members we believe for increase and demand restoration and improvement on the things the theif has stolen from each and every one of us.
We thanks you for partnership and the ability to use the name of Jesus to ensure that your will be done!!!
“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” (Romans 8:37) We BELIEVE and DECLARE this In Jesus name.
Yes, In Jesus name I declare and demand full restoration for all that’s been stolen from the Body of Christ, in our past generations, and also throughout our lifetime in the earth……especially wealth, health, relationships, & opportunities. I believe it, I receive it and I thank you Lord.
Lord you hear the crys of your people and those that don’t know you yet, show yourself strong in our weaknesses. Turn our eye to you for you are all we need. Give us passion for others. Open doors for us to share your unconditional love.
Love that passage of Scripture!
Julie, I love that verse too!
My recovery followed a similar path to David’s. 1 I started to sit and think about where my life was and where I wanted it to be. 2 I began to read the Bible John gave me during my first visit to Impact 3/4 I had already been praying, heard my answer, but finally listened. 5 I think I became alot nicer during my drug use, it has continued. 6. I am forever grateful to my God for reaching down for me when I cried to God. 7 Am finally beginning to feel comfortable speaking on God’s role in my daily life.
Thanks for making me think about that Pastor Karl.
God is good ALL the time – PERIOD. He has given us all that we need to live victoriously; God’s will for our lives is not difficult – what is in your hand right now? Simply steward well what God has given you and more will come.
Thank-you Jesus for our ability to influence the circle we are in right now! We agree for Londoners to come this Sunday to Impact church – thank-you for all of heaven that moves to the sound of your Word – we declare harvest, healing, restoration and blessing over our city. 1 Corinthians 16:9 we thank-you for the door that is now open before us, our praise silences all that opposes your Kingdom coming and Your will being done!
