Day 4 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 4 of 10 Days of Prayer
By: Sheryl Sullivan

As we go into this Fall season, let’s believe for a season of breakthrough.

“The breaker goes up before them; They break out, pass through the gate and go out by it.  So their king goes before them, and the Lord at their head.” Micah 2:13 NASB

The Hebrew word for breakthrough is “parats” which means “to break out, to burst out, to grow, to increase, to be opened”

In Barnes Notes it says that “Breaker-through” is one of the titles given to Christ.  He is our breakthrough!

Prayer directives

1. As we prepare to launch a Saturday night service, let there be breakthrough! Jesus, go before us and break open the way.  Pray for an increase of people coming to the Lord, and for people to get a greater vision for growth.
2. Pray for breakthrough in healing, both physical and emotional, and in freedom from addictions.
3. Stand with those who have been praying for years for their families, and believe for the prodigals to come home.

“Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!  And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” Zechariah 4:7 NKJV

Thank you, Lord, for your heart for breakthrough. Yes, we declare that hearts are being softened by your mercy, love and grace. And in the name of Jesus, we call all who are weary to come home to the heart of their good good Father.
