Day 2 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day 2 of 10 Days of Prayer
By: Zach Sloane

Philippians 4:6-8 (NIV)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Fall is often a time of transition as we embrace a new season. With a new season often comes a new ebb and flow to life, new circumstances, maybe new school years, classes, jobs, new people, and new schedules with new demands and expectations.

Transitions, with the new demands, adjustments, and uncertainty that often goes with them, can sometimes be difficult.

So as we transition, as families, individuals, and as a church into a new season lets really be diligent about presenting our requests to God, with thanksgiving…

Let’s pray for:

Smooth transitions and quick adjustments

A new flow and ease in our prayer lives

A deep sense of gratitude and belief for heard and answered pray that in turn energizes even more prayer.

No anxiety… all anxiety and worry in any of our lives would be cast out, as we embrace the next season with clarity, confidence, and trust.

A deep sense of mental and emotion well-being, free from all fear.

And… that each one of us knows and manifests, lives, acts, and makes choices out of the deep, abiding, peace of God in our hearts and minds.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we would have a full understanding of the armor of God according to EPHESIANS 6:14-18. If fear, anxiety, worry or any stress try to steal our peace as we move forward in this new season, I pray we would stand firm in the armor of God and speak it forth. In Jesus name amen

I pray we all transition well. All students and teaching staff would transition back into the classrooms and new routines well. We would transition into our second service with excellence allowing space for more people. That all of us would take this season as a fresh start. Thank you that You give us everything we need for each season. We have everything we need to help others. Show us who we can help. Thank you for Your peace. Thank you that we can lean into You. Thank you for the Impact family.

Zach : This was a timely message that was well received in our home. Praying for all of the transitions in our lives. We remember back when we were Pioneer Boys Leaders, our motto was ” Thy Word is a Lamp Unto our Feet, and a Light Unto our Path ”
    Blessings to all.

We agree for all those, young and old, who are involved with this change of season and schedules that all anxiety would be dissolved with His peace and exchanged with excitement and anticipation. Let us see new opportunities to learn, grow and experience the fullness of joy that is His word over us. Embrace he changes and settle in your mind that His goodness is all you need and His favour is already upon you!
Father, let your presence rule and reign in our hearts. Jesus, your are our peace!

I thank God for His Peace through change .
Sometimes change is necessary for us to be where God wants to take us next. It is truly a great privilege to know we can present every concern to the Lord, in exchange for His peace and assurance , knowing He is guiding us and that we can trust Him.
Father let your Peace overflow on everyone feeling overwhelmed by change today, in Jesus Name!!
