Day #10 of 10 Days of Prayer

Day #10 Of 10 Days Of Prayer

Small groups start this week and you need to be in one. Here is some encouragement for you to engage.

Then we can pray for our fellowship as together we pursue the manifestation of our maturity.

“Communion is strength; solitude is weakness. Alone, the fine old beech yields to the blast and lies prone on the meadow. In the forest, supporting each other, the trees laugh at the hurricane. The sheep of Jesus flock together. The social element is the genius of Christianity.” – C.H. Spurgeon

On the day of Pentecost, the church went through exponential growth. They grew from possibly 120 people to 3,120 in one day, and then it says that they continued to add more people daily.

Last feast to be fulfilled is Tabernacles … HARVEST!

“…they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes…”

Acts 2:42-47

“…but have taught you publicly and from house to house.”

Acts 20:20

Moses needed small groups:

Deuteronomy 1:1-18

“And I spoke to you at that time, saying: ‘I alone am not able to bear you … How can I alone bear your problems and your burdens and your complaints? Choose wise, understanding, and knowledgeable men from among your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.”

3 Basics Of Small Groups

Fellowship

“And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone;…”  Gen 2:18

Ecc. 4:9-11 /  Mt 18:20

Basic need of mankind is to belong.

Function

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”

John 13:34

You can’t fulfill all the one another’s if you don’t connect.

Formation

“As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”  Pr. 27:17

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Pr. 27:6

“Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.”  1 Corinthians 14:1

Small groups are a great place to exercise your spiritual gifts.

Blessings and encouraging others.

Practical bible application and testimony.

On March 10, 1974, Lt. Hiroo Onada was the last World War II Japanese soldier to surrender.

“Nothing pleasant happened in the 29 years in the jungle.” Onada  (1974 Newsweek Magazine)

Self-imposed isolation is not God’s plan. You need experience the joy and fellowship of others in a small group!

PRAYER DIRECTIVES:

Prayerfully consider which Impact Group you will join.  Pray for new friendships and fun as we meet each week.

Pray for service and those ministering at Church tomorrow, that they would be strengthened and equipped as they serve, and that every member would come ready to bring strength and energy as we celebrate Jesus.

Pray for traveling mercies for the Pastors as they return to London today.

Continue to pray for souls to be added and consistent growth in the Church.

As we enter into 2015’s first small group sessions I thank-you God that our members take the opportunity to join a group. Thank-you for the diversity and differences among us, for the variety of personalities and opinions that make these groups so much fun. As we meet together on Wednesdays thank-you for the new friendships that develop and the understanding we gain from the material we study.

I agree that tomorrow’s church service will be awesome! We pray for salvations, healings and joy! Thank-you God that we can meet together and enjoy the liberty of your Spirit. I speak blessing over all those ministering tomorrow may they be sensitive to the needs of those who they touch and filled with Your Spirit. Thank-you God that those ministering do so out of your rest that You flow through them unhindered.

We pray for the families and marriages in our body protection from the enemies devices. Thank-you God that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty – we pull down the arguments and high things that would try to oppose the fullness of your Kingdom manifesting in Your church.

Thank-you for supernatural rest, protection and strength for our Pastors on their return to London. Blessings coming in and blessings going out. We agree that their sleep tonight would be unhindered and sweet. We God dreams and God visions in the night.

Thank-you God for the momentum at iMPACT church, we agree for this to continue to build, that souls continue to be added to the church, that each part does it’s share and that we continue to lack no good thing! We speak continued life and more abundant life over iMPACT church London in Jesus name!

Dear Lord draw ALL those at Impact into a cell group that would fit them totally. As leaders of cells teach draw such a cord through all thise attending. I ask for a stronger and deeper and new relationships to emerge from these cells and that hearts would be open wide to receive every seed taught. May much fruit come forth in the hearts and lives of all attending. Strengthen mightily, right to the core, our pastors as they prepare for tomorrow’s service. Increase your presence in our service and minister so mightily to them and all attending our service. And we thank you….
