Day 1 Of 10 Days Of Prayer, Sept 2022

DAY 1 OF 10 DAYS OF PRAYER  SEP 2022
By Kelly Michalczyk

Tomorrow, students are returning to school and we want to pray for our Impact Kids, Students, and Teachers.

STUDENTS
God is with You.  Whether you’re in kindergarten, elementary, high-school, college, or university.  God goes before you, with you, and after you.  He is your helper.  He is your protector.  He is your guide.  He will help you find and make friends.  He will help you in your classroom.  He will keep you safe.  He is with you.
Here are just a few verses that you can write in your notebook, keep in your phone, … that will help you through the school year.

I’m happy from the inside out,
And from the outside in, I’m firmly formed.
 Psalm 16:8-9
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
 Psalm 121:2
With [God] on my side I’m fearless,
Afraid of no one and nothing.
 Psalm 27:1
You’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me [God], what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
 Philippians 4:8-9

PARENTS

We are co-parents with God and He loves your precious ones so much more than you could imagine.  He will help you make great decisions with and for them.  He will keep them safe.  He will help them prosper.  He will help them make wise decisions.  He will open doors for them.  You can entrust them to God.
Here are a few promises from the Word that you declare over your child and remind yourself of God’s great love for your family.

You got me when I was an unformed youth,
God, and taught me everything I know.
Now I’m telling the world your wonders;
I’ll keep at it until I’m old and gray.Psalm 71: 17-18
“No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.”
 Isaiah 43:13
There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finishPhilippians 1:6
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Philippians 4:6-7

TEACHERS AND STAFF
God is with you too.  We are thankful to you for taking our children into your care and are praying for strength, wisdom, patience, and passion to do so.  We know that God will be giving you a special creativity.
Here are a few verses that will help you remember that God is empowering you this year.
Every child you encounter is a divine appointment.
Wes Stafford

Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
 Ephesians 6:7
The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed;
Those who help others are helped.
 Proverbs 11:25
Well-done work has its own reward.
 Proverbs 12:24
What happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.Galatians 5:22

Please pray these requests with us and leave a verse of encouragement that students, parents, and teachers can hold on to this year.

PRAYER DIRECTIVES:
-Pray that families transition well into new routines and rhythms of their day.
-Declare that all students and staff are kept safe and also have the feeling of safety and peace.  There is no anxiousness.
-Continue to pray for all of the policy makers to exercise wisdom and make good choices.
-Lift up teachers (whether online, in-person, or parents who home-school).  Declare that God will equip them with great skill, ability, and passion to pour into students.
-Pray for Impact Kids, Youth, and Young Adults and the leaders of those ministries.  Pray for God’s help with what ministry looks like in the fall.

INVITATION:
We want to invite you to a prayer meeting, at the Church, TONIGHT AT 6:30. It will be a family-friendly time that will equip you to pray and teach your children about prayer. What a great way to start out the school year.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this new school year and for providing the opportunity for learning, development and for socialization. Protect the students, staff and volunteers. Grant wisdom and creativity to the teachers/professors/home schooling parents to best communicate all that is required of them to teach the students. And may the students be blessed with supernatural learning and understanding. May environments be flooded with Your Presence as students/teachers/volunteers who are faith-filled and grace-filled walk empowered by Holy Spirit into these places of learning. We thank You in advance for a blessed and amazing school year ahead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
