10 Days Of Prayer 2016
Day #1 — The Light Of Life Is Pressing IN!
Welcome to our first day of 10 Days of Prayer. I’m a very positive person. I always see the blue sky, even on a cloudy day. Well I believe this is going to be a year of extraordinary increase. SURPRISE!!!
Early in the morning of December 22nd I had encounter with the Lord while I was sleeping. He pressed into my heart the phrase, “IAM the light of LIFE.” The series we were in for Christmas was, “The Light Of The World.” But the Lord impressed upon me that this was in regard to the coming year 2016. I have to say I had not yet considered the New Year, which is unusual for me. Yet the Lord chose to pursue me in this regard.
The following verses continued to be pressed into my spirit. When I woke up I immediately typed them out in the notes app on my iPhone:
John 1:4 “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
John 8:12 “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’”
Proverbs 4:18 “The ways of right-living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine.”
Proverbs 4:18 AMPC “But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared].”
2 Corinthians 4:6 “For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, (GENESIS 1 Let there be light) who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Psalm 89:15 “Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know the joyful sound [who understand and appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feasts]; they walk, O Lord, in the light and favor of Your countenance!”
We are in a year of Jubilee according to the jewish calendar. I believe that is significant for all of us. Psalm 89:15 says that those who walk in the revelation of the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feast experience His tangible presence and favour in their every day walk.
2016 is a year where God is desiring to express the full measure of His LIFE on behalf of His people. He is restless. He is exalting His people for His names sake!
Psalm 110:1-2 “The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.’ The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion (CHURCH). Rule in the midst of Your enemies!”
When Jesus ascended He sat down at His Fathers right hand. He is now working through the church, (Out of Zion) His body, to fill the earth with the knowledge of His glory. The rod of His strength is now being expressed through a Spirit Baptized church. The church is going to operate in great authority over all expressions of darkness this year. The GOODNESS of God is going come into full demonstration.
Psalm 50:2 “Out of Zion (CHURCH), the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.”
Hebrews 12: 22-23 “…Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn…”
When you let the Word interpret the Word you will always have a safe revelation. God’s eternal purpose is the Church. Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem is the church. Ephesians 2:15-16 “…to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross,…”
OUT OF ZION God is going to reveal His glory. The church is the perfection of beauty. “… now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,…” Ephesians 3:10 God has limited Himself in His Word to expressing Glory through His church. “… to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 2:21 The Church will be the the most beautiful and attractive organism in the earth. Everyone will experience the goodness of God in the corporate gathering of His people. They will say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob.” Isaiah 2:3
I know that Jesus announced that He is the Jubilee 2000 years ago. But that expression is increasing in the earth today through His glorious advancing church. And this is another year of glorious advance!!!
Psalm 102:13-16 “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come…. So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.”
He is building up Zion (CHURCH)! He is increasing the revelation of His goodness. His is appearing in Hos glory! IT’S TIME!!!
Just like Jesus incarnation was in the fullness of time. Galatians 4:4 “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,” This is the fullness of time! God is still working out His plan. You are a part of that plan.
The Light of Life is pressing in. Prepare to experience a year where the LIFE of God is manifest in a greater measure in every area of your life!!!
PRAYER DIRECTIVES:
1. Give thanks for God’s faithfulness in 2015. Rehearse the ways He manifest His care for you and yours in this past year.
2. What promise can you appropriate from His word that assures you of a year crowned with favour? Do you believe He has good plans for you? Confess those good things over you life and your family and our IMPACT family.
3. What are the benefits of Jubilee? What were some of the Jubilee benefits Jesus announced in Luke chapter 4? Proclaim those benefits now. Where do you need Healing? Where would you like to see healing. What other areas of good news would you like to see in your world? HIS LIFE IS PRESSING IN!
4. Pray for this to be a year of great harvest. A harvest of souls. A Harvest of dreams. A harvest of every seed sown.
5. Ask the Lord to lead you in a fresh revelation of what this year holds for you. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Ask Him … He will clearly lead you.
6. Make a fresh surrender of yourself to His purposes this year. His plans are good. His desire for you good. He is the Father of lights and he gives good gift to His children and He will not change that!
7. Have a great day with family and friends. Pray for the Canadian Junior hockey team. They look like they need help. And one more thing … “GO LEAFS!!!”

Happy New Year to you all. Thank God for His faithfulness. I have come to depend on Him being faithful and He does not disappoint. Thank you Lord for another year to surrender to your purposes and to share you great love and mercy. I confess that the will be the best year yet be because you are committed to an increase of your reign and your peace and because you are alway good and your love never fails!!! Fill the earth with your GLORY … begin in me! More Lord!!!
“God came from Teman, The holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, and there His power was hidden.” Habakkuk 3:3-4
We are praying that the pressing in of God’s light in our family and our IMPACT family, through the intentional shining of His face upon ours, finds its full expression in bringing the revelation of God in the face of Jesus, revelations of His eternal purpose, and in manifestations of power through our hands, the hands of those who are His; that the manifold wisdom of God is made known in our parts of the earth through the multi-faceted expressions of the light of His glory, like the rainbow around the throne. May He cause His face to shine upon us, and may we, and countless others, feel the Holy Spirit lifting our face to His, locking eyes with Him whose eyes are like flames of fire, and empower us to be the light He has already made us, in all supernatural activity, revelation, and power.

Happy New Year to one and all. This morning I woke up to the sound of the telephone and before I knew who it was on the phone, I said, “Happy New Year” and found out it was someone calling from a duct cleaning service! I don’t consider that greeting a waste because I had the opportunity to speak favour into that person’s life. I do give thanks to the Lord for His mercies are new every morning. I do ponder on all of my history with him and His favour over 2015 and beyond that over my whole life. One of the promises we can all lean on for 2016 is inPsalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord. who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah!. We can claim family salvation and I do for all our Impact famly. I love the statement, A harvest of souls, dreams and every seed planted and I echo that for one and all. I think of that old Heinz Ketchup commercial, with the song, “Anticipation being played in the background and I am in great expectatkion and anticipation of the new year 2016 and what the Lord has for us all.
We believe with Jesus’ faith and revelation light that 2016 is a year of the manifestation of all that his grace has won for us.
Thank you Father for the many blessing in 2015. We looked forward to a year filled with the light and life of Christ. We thank you that now we are the light of the world and therefore the life that the world seeks. Cause us to shine bright and bring many sons to glory in 2016.
Christ in us, hope of glory!
Shine Jesus shine in and through and outward…harvest for your glory.
Thank you Father for your favour and blessings and joy, we rejoice, you rejoice.
What an opportunity we have to shine our light in this world. As Jesus is, so we are in this world. My prayer is for the increased opportunities to be light to those in dark places. To illuminate their value, their giftings and callings. Most of all to illuminate the love that was demonstrated through Jesus, and the sacrifice he made so we can all have a relationship with the Father.
People need to experience the light, don’t hide it.
2 Corinthians 3:17,18 (KJV) Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
My prayer is that this is the year our church family becomes debt free and moves in to financial blessings more than ever. I have seen how financial bondage with debt has affected a lot of God’s children. Let us become lenders rather than borrowers. Some may have debts forgiven and others may have wind falls to get them out of debt. Some may have to learn how to live within their means and limit their spending. Let us experience the Liberty that Jesus desires for us in our finances so we can be more like him.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
We are established by His word and our assurance is continual increase of His enduring peace and authority. Our God is truly for us! Who then can stand against us? We stand in great confidence to declare this is the year of the Lord!
Happy and Blessed New Year 2016.
God has given us the authority through the Name and Blood of Jesus to speak healing and more. We actually take Jesus place here on earth at the same time He takes our place in the presence of the Father. Mathew 28:18 says that Jesus has all authority in Heaven and on the earth. When we receive Jesus as our Saviour, we, have Authority in His name over Demons, sickness, disease, lack, and every form of misery.
I declare Healing of all Sicknesses and Prosperity over myself, my family, and The Impact Family. I declare Wisdom, Peace, and Joy over our Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Teachers, and all our volunteers and every member of the Impact Church Family.

YES!!! Soo cool that He decides to use us 😀 and its a good reminder that ALL His plans for us are good. We just declare over Impact Church and the World, “that His goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and that we will dwell in His house forever” (Psalm 23:6). AMEN <3
Ps. 65:11 NLT – You crown the year with bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.
We believe your Word that this year 2016 will produce much harvest!! We thank you that faith will become sight this year. And we thank you that your light will be pressed into every hard pathway in our hearts, our lives, our family and our church…we call in manifestation of every single prayer prayed and speak life to every area of death Now! ! In Jesus name!!!
I didn’t comment on day 1 of prayer, as I was with my family. I did, however, pray the light of life in each one of their lives. I am believing for great harvest! “And as the waters fill the sea, so the earth will be filled with people who know the Lord.” Isaiah 11:9 (NLT)
I so love prayer directive 6. The New Years season is always a great time to thank God for what he did last year and dedicate yourself a fresh to the new year. God I just surrender my life again and I am so grateful for the freshness and revival of your presence invading my life! AMEN!
