Health Hacks, Day 14 of 21 Days

Health Hacks, Day 14 of 21 Days
By: Mike Mathison

Be Healthy in Body and Spirit

1 Timothy 4:8
“For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things..”

Here we see the Apostle Paul acknowledges that there is value to physical exercise but more importantly, “exercise godliness which is good for this life, and the life to come.”

Jude1:20
“But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.”

This is a concept of making a building on a foundation, adding layer after layer, kinda like building with Lego!

1 Cor 14:4
“A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church.”

This is exercise for the inner man!  God’s Word bible translates this verse as:
” When a person speaks in another language, he helps himself grow”

Time to get pumped up in the Holy Ghost!

We see the results of a good work out when we view the life of the apostle Paul. He, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote that he spoke in tongues more than anyone.  The apostle Peter recognized that Paul was walking in deep revelation and noted that his writings were hard to grasp.

1 Cor. 14:18
I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.

2Peter 3:16
“speaking of these things in all of his letters. Some of his comments are hard to understand, ….”

It is time to exercise and take care of the bodies God has given us, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and give our inner man a good workout.

Be strong and healthy Church!
Blessings.

    Karl Thomas says:

“The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear?” Proverbs 18:14 (AMP) “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit?” (NKJV) Don’t underestimate the benefit of building up your inner man. A strong spirit will dominate in the physical realm. Exercising the gift of tongues is a great way to build up strength and keep all sickness from you. Be well my friends!
