The Sunday School teacher was extremely enthusiastic. She looked at the class of four-years old’s and asked this question: “Does anyone know what today is?”
A little girl held up her finger and said, “Yes today is Palm Sunday.” “That’s fantastic!” the teacher replied. “Does anyone know what next Sunday is?”
The same little girl held up her finger and said, “Next Sunday is Easter Sunday.” Again, the teacher replied, “That’s great!”
Then the teacher asked, “Does anyone know what makes next Sunday Easter?” The little girl again responded, “Yes, next Sunday is Easter Sunday because Jesus rose from the grave.”
But before the teacher could again congratulate her, she continued, “But if he sees his shadow, he has to go back in for six weeks!”
Corrie ten Boom was once asked if it were difficult for her to remain humble. Her reply was simple. “When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday on the back of a donkey, and everyone was waving palm branches and throwing garments onto the road, and singing praises, do you think that for one moment it ever entered the head of that donkey that any of that was for him?” She continued, “If I can be the donkey on which Jesus Christ rides in his glory, I give him all the praise and all the honor.”
This is the beginning of passion week. Jesus is entering a head on collisions with all the forces of darkness. The week begins with the crowd singing Hosanna. In four days, they will scream crucify him! In seven days, He will rise from the dead in victory.
The feast of Passover:
Today they brought the sacrifice for inspection.

This day He cleansed His temple.
Today He begins His final assault to secure JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Matthew 21:12-13 “Jesus went straight to the Temple and threw out everyone who had set up shop, buying and selling. He kicked over the tables of loan sharks and the stalls of dove merchants. He quoted this text: My house was designated a house of prayer;”
