John 5:45-46 “Yet it isn’t I who will accuse you before the Father. Moses will accuse you! Yes, Moses, in whom you put your hopes. If you really believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.”

Deuteronomy 5:32-33“So Moses told the people, ‘You must be careful to obey all the commands of the Lord your God, following his instructions in every detail. Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy.’”

Deuteronomy 6:24-25“And the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day. For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us.”

Deuteronomy 30:19“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;”

Deuteronomy 31:28-29 “Now summon all the elders and officials of your tribes, so that I can speak to them directly and call heaven and earth to witness against them. I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt and will turn from the way I have commanded you to follow.”

Deuteronomy 30:6“The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!”
Moses prophesies a preferred future. God will act on our behalf.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God: Your towns and your fields will be blessed.”

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 “But if you refuse to listen to the Lord your God and do not obey all the commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you: Your towns and your fields will be cursed… Your life will constantly hang in the balance. You will live night and day in fear, unsure if you will survive.”

Galatians 3:5-6 “Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Galatians 3:10 “But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, ‘Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.’” (Deut. 27:26)

Galatians 3:13-14“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that (PURPOSE CLAUSE) the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that (PURPOSE CLAUSE) we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Redeemed (exagorazō) :— to recover from the power of another, of Christ freeing men from the dominion of the Mosaic law. The power of sin is the law!

Romans 4:3“For the Scriptures tell us, ‘Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.’”
Genesis12:2-3“I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.”

Reformation:“…the just shall live by faith.” Hab. 2:4 “…the just shall live by faith.” Rom 1:17 “…the just shall live by faith.” Gal. 3:11“…the just shall live by faith.” Heb. 10:38
The law says: Do this. The gospel says: Accept this. The difference between trying and trusting

Romans 7:6“But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.”

PROMISE!!! Holy Spirit Not only are you looking to the righteousness of Christ in Heaven as the basis by which you stand before God, but the righteousness of Christ, the Spirit of Christ is actually put in your heart to radically change your life now – not from the outside in, but from the inside out.

Hebrews 8:12-13“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. In that He says, ‘A new covenant,’ He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.”

“ABBA” :— Daddy … only said of God by those born of the Spirit.
Galatians 4:7“God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’”
Old Covenant — God — Holy — Fear Him — Keep Your Distance
New Covenant — Father — Love —Trust Him — Boldly Approach

Old Covenant — You Serve God New Covenant — God Serves You
If you allow me to serve you … you will be enabled to serve one another.
Mark 10:45“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
John 15:12“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

This is not a systematic way to make your life better.
This is not how to be more moral, more good. It’s not the point.
The point of Christianity is you can’t do that, and your need is not for a better life; your need is for a new life.

Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” One Person has lived the Christian life perfectly and it wasn’t you.
But He lives in you and He is your victory in all those areas where you’re failing.

Proverbs 26 2:15 (NKJV) “Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow,So a curse without cause shall not alight.”
(LB)“An undeserved curse has no effect. Its intended victim will be no more harmed by it than by a sparrow or swallow flitting through the sky.” ROOT IS GRACE CHIN … Where the grace of God is applied no CURSE!!!

Jesus changes everything!!! The Cross changes everything … NO CURSES … ONLY BLESSING!!!!
