Hebrews 11:1, 6 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Matthew 9:28-30“And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”

Mark 9:19, 22-24 “Jesus said to them, ‘You faithless people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.’” — “‘The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.’ ‘What do you mean, ‘If I can’?’Jesus asked. ‘Anything is possible if a person believes.’ The father instantly cried out, ‘I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!’”

Hebrews 11:35, 39-40 “There were others… These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.”

Let me just do everything I need to fill up my faith bucket and then I can trade for what I desire!
NO!!! Our faith is not in faith. The object of our faith is a Loving God who is the source of every good thing.

Luke 17:5-6 Message “The apostles came up and said to the Master, ‘Give us more faith.’ But the Master said, ‘You don’t need more faith. There is no ‘more’ or ‘less’ in faith. If you have a bare kernel of faith, say the size of a poppy seed, you could say to this sycamore tree, ‘Go jump in the lake,’ and it would do it.”’”

4 Basics Of Faith:
1. Faith Is A LAW. Romans 3:27“…but by the law of faith.”
2. Faith Is A Gift. Mark 11:22“Have (the) faith in (of)God.”
Romans 12:3“God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”

3. Faith Comes Hearing Word Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Don’t lack the ability to believe but the knowledge of what to believe.
Isaiah 5:13“…captivity, because they have no knowledge.”

4. Faith Works By Believing And Confessing Mark 11:23-24“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Romans 4:16NLT“So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it,”

(AMP) “Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants”

Romans 4:17 {MSG} “We call Abraham “father” not because he got God’s attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody … because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do…”

Romans 4:17 {AMP} “…in the sight of Godin Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaksof the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.”

Abraham got eye to eye with God!!

Romans 4:20 KJV“He staggered notat the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; STAY IN FAITH … DON’T QUIT ON YOUR BELIEF …

Abraham crossed over into a realm where no man had gone before.
A less than perfect man began to operate out of the same life force as God.
A man expressing the DNA of God. A man lifted up in the sight of God doing the God sort of stuff.
Declares things that are not as though they were.

David operated in the Spirit of Faith!
2 Corinthians 4:13 “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak,” That was David in Psalm 116:10.

Principles of faith are taught. — The Spirit Of Faith is caught!!! Heart after God! A contagious Spirit of Faith!
2 Samuel 21:22 “These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.” Now everyone is killing giants!

Acts 13:22“I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart,which shall fulfil all my will.”
Your heart (your spirit, inner man) is your believing mechanism.
Provide God with a heart that is fertile soil for His supernatural expression.

7 Attitudes Of A Heart That Manifests The Spirit Of Faith
1. Heart That Is Delightful
Romans 15:13“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

2. Heart That Is Dreaming
Proverbs 29:18 (ESV)“Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, (They are discouraged, Quit)”
Your imagination is a self-fulfilling prophecy.Your dominant thoughts are directing you.

3. Heart That Is Determined
Romans 8:31“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
God has only good plans for me! God wants to give me good things! God wants me to enjoy life!

4. Heart That Is Decisive
Psalm 37:23 NLT“The Lord directs the stepsof the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.”
Make up your mind. Get in gear. Get your foot in the air and God will bring it down.

5. Heart That Is Demanding
Isaiah 45:11“…and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.”
God wants you to ask and keep on asking! Be Bold with the promises!!!

6. Heart That Is Declaring
1 Samuel 16:36 “Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them,…” Job 22:28 “You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.”

7. Heart That Is Daring
2 Samuel 23:11“But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.”

2 Corinthians 4:13 “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak,” Keep your believer and your speaker connected!
