Things My Mother Taught Me!!!
My mother is my root, my foundation. She planted the seed that I base my life on, and that is the belief that the ability to achieve starts in your mind. Michael Jordan
I want my children to have all the things I couldn’t afford. Then, I want to move in with them.Phyllis Diller
An ounce of mother is worth a ton of priest. SPANISH PROVERB
Jesus Favourite House: Luke 10:38 “Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.”

“Culture Eats Strategy For Breakfast” Peter Drucker The GO YE without the LOVE ONE ANOTHER = TOXIC
John 14:12-14 Message) “From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I amand what I am doing, I’ll do it. That’s how the Father will be seen for who he is in the Son. I mean it. Whatever you request in this way, I’ll do.”
Culture is atmospheric it is in the DNA of a movement. Unforced.
Culture is incarnational.
Culture, like chicken pox, is contagious.
Culture is more caught than taught.
Culture is our values, practices and behaviour.
Culture Of LoveJohn 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” Love :– Sacrificially ascribing infinite worth to another.
Culture Of Formation Mark 1:17“Then Jesus said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.’” Being a follower of Jesus looks like something. An authentic expression of being with Jesus
Culture Of Acceptance Romans 15:7 “Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Belong – Believe – Behave NOT Behave – Believe – Belong
Culture Of AuthenticityRomans 2:4(The Message) “God is kind, but he’s not soft. In kindness he takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life-change.”
Culture Of Honour
Romans 12:9-10(ESV) “Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honour.”
Honour:— (tim-ah’-o) to have in honour, to revere, venerate, as of great price, precious, esteemed, especially dear.
Honour isn’t something you do for the Lord or others. Honour is something you do that results in blessing yourself.
Honour Is Relational
1 Peter 2:17“Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.” (ESV)
“Treat everyone you meet with dignity. Love your spiritual family. Revere God. Respect the government.”(MESSAGE)
Exodus 20:12“Honor your father and your mother, that yourdays may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”
Ephesians 6:2-3“‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with promise: ‘that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.’”
HONOUR IS 360 DEGREES (PICTURE)… Honour doesn’t just go up. Some teaching and some folks only honour who they think deserve it.
Relationships Of Honour Have:
1. Brought about the greatest transformation in my life.
2. Brought about the greatest joy in my life.
3. Brought about the most pain in my life. Increased heart capacity. A DEEPER EXPRESSION OF CHRIST LIFE
4. Brought about periods of increased anointing.
Honour Requires Humility
Proverbs 29:23 (NLT)“Pride ends in humiliation, while humility brings honour.”
Proverbs 15:33 (ESV)“The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.”
Familiarity Quenches Honour
Mark 6:4-6“But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honour except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, …”
“…except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief.”
Not that He would not but that he could not.
Familiarity feeds a climate of unbelief.
Entitlement – Fruit Of Dishonour
Proverbs 30:11-15
“There is a generation that curses its father, And does not bless its mother. There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness. There is a generation—oh, how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation whose teeth are like swords, And whose fangs are like knives, To devour the poor from off the earth, And the needy from among men. The leech has two daughters— Give and Give”
HITLER YOUTH … If your parents disagree with Nazi doctrine … turn them in … dishonour them
Honour Releases Faith
Matthew 8:5-13“centurion answered …, ‘Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed’ ‘I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!’”
Honour Engages Promise
Proverbs 3:8-10“It will behealthto your flesh, Andstrength to your bones.Honourthe Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; …barns will be filled with plenty, … vats will overflowwith new wine.”
Honour Secures Your Destiny
Exodus 20:12“Honour (GLORY) your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”
Honour Secures Freedom Romans 12:14“Blessthose who persecute you; bless and do not curse.”
When you make honour a lifestyle you free yourself from control. No room for bitterness or unforgiveness.
2 Samuel 9:1, 10“Now David said, ‘Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindnessfor Jonathan’s sake?’…But Mephibosheth your master’s son shall eat bread at my table always.”
Luke 15:30-32“‘…this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’ … ‘It was rightthat we should make merry and be glad, for your brotherwas dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’”
