Luke 22:15
“Then He said to them, ‘With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;’”
2 Corinthians 5:18-21
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation … 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. … Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Colossians 2:13-15
“He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, … having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. “
Romans 5:15 (NLT) “…But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.”
Acts 26:18
“…to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”
You can’t earn or work for forgiveness … YOU RECEIVE IT!
Romans 5:17 “…much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”
Hebrews 2:14 “…that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,…”
Hebrews 9:12 “…but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.”
“ Jesus was cursed on the tree in our place and bore our sin in His own body. He did not bear our sin in His blood. It was just as holy on the cross as it ever was. As He offered the sin sacrifice to God, He was covered with pure, innocent, justifying, redeeming, sanctifying blood so that He was able to dismiss His spirit to His Father at death.” David Alsobrook
