#209 (Wed) You Asked For It# 6: Is It Always God’s Will To Heal?
You Asked For It# 6 — Is It Always God’s will to heal?
God is willing to heal ALL THE TIME. It is always His will that healing be manifest. Why would He purchase the right to manifest something on our behalf and then withhold it from us? There are NO deficiencies on His part, in compassion, in promise or in performance. We must settle this issue on our part for there is no lack in Him.
Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”
Exodus 15:26 “For I am the Lord who heals you.”
Deuteronomy 7:15 “And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known,…”
Psalm 103:2-5 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Mark 1:41 “Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
Matthew 9:35 “Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”
Acts 9:34 “And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.”
Acts 20:28 “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”
These actions will promote a greater manifestation of God’s willingness to heal.
#1 Have a personal working revelation knowledge that it is God’s will to heal you.
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 4:10 (AMP) “Jesus answered her, If you had only known and had recognized God’s gift and Who this is that is saying to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him [instead] and He would have given you living water.”
Ephesians 1:16-18 “…making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”
Psalm 107:20 “He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.” The Word creates a health zone.
- Wigglesworth “I’d rather leave home without my pants than my Bible.”
If it is God’s will for you to be sick then you should not go to a Doctor or take medications.
Know this — It is not God’s will for you to be sick.
#2 – Confront any expression of doubt or unbelief.
Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
James 1:6-7 “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;”
Matthew 13:58 “ Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”
I John 3:23 “And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.”
1 John 5:5 “Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
Matthew 9:28-29 “ And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
#3 – Be convinced of your authority over sickness.
Acts 3:6 “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”
Acts 9:34 “And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.”
Acts 4:30 “by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
Luke 13:11-13 “And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” JESUS HATED SICKNESS PASSIONATELY.
Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
#4 – Be convinced that we are deeply loved and we have been qualified for healing.
Colossians 1:12-13 “ …giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,…”
John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
3John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
Revelation 1:5 “To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,”
1 Peter 1:18-19 “For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.”
Never believe that you are not worthy of experiencing His love. You are of great worth to your Heavenly Father. He will not withhold His benefits from you.
#5 – Deal with unhealthy emotions that invite infirmities.
Proverbs 17:22 “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”
Proverbs 18:14 “The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear?”
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Deuteronomy 28:47-48 “… not serve the LORD your God with joy … serve your enemies…”
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
2 Corinthians 2:11 “…in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.”
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,…”
Ephesians 4:26 ““In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.”
Caroline Leaf “Who Switched Off My Brain” — page 20
“Emotions such as hate demand more and more space physically in the brain … Like weeds they grow in abundance crowding everything else out. … Memory and emotions like body and mind, are inseparable.”
Caroline Leaf “Who Switched Off My Brain” — page 4, 37
“Research has shown that around 87% of illness can be attributed to our thought life, and approximately 13% to diet, genetics and environment …your emotions are cellular signals that translate information into physical reality.”
While sin does not hinder a healing, or else we would all be hindered, it can open the door to unclean spirits which can carry with them infirmities. Unforgiveness/Bitterness can open a door for infirmity to remain in our bodies. Seeking a healing when you really need emotional healing or a deliverance is something that we need to consider. If you need a deliverance, and you’re just trying to get healed, you may not get the result you want. Understanding why the sickness is there and dealing with the roots of that infirmity is crucial to getting healed and keeping your healing.
#6 – Have a working understanding of how Healing Is ministered.
Believers Anointing Mark 16:17-19 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; … they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Local Church James 5:14-15 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
Healing Anointing Acts 19:11-12 “God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.”
Spiritual Gift 1Corinthians 12:9-11 “… to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers,…”

The Word Psalm 107:20 “He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.” The Word creates a health zone.
#7 – Surround yourself with partnerships and accelerate your results.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 “Two are better than one, … For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.”
Matthew 18:19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
Psalm 133 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! … For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.”
Mtt 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
