Relationships Series# 4: ENJOYING THE BENEFITS OF RELATIONSHIP!

Relationship Facilitates growth.

Relationship is all about influence.

–  Relationship must increase your influence.

–  Relationship between the Godhead is about influence.

–  The father plans

–  The son executes

–  Holly Spirit reveals

Relationship is all about the increase.

Relationship is all about sharing.

Relationship is all about reproduction.

Relationship is all about benefits.

Relationship is about the Sharing inheritance:

– Romans 8: 17

We are the joint heirs of Christ and Heirs of God

Relationship is about the Sharing of authority, rights and privileges.

–   John 20: 21

Peace  be unto you, as the father has sent me, even so I send you.

Our vertical relationship must influence our horizontal relationship.

We must learn from the relationship between God the father, son and the holly spirit and manifest that model on earthly relationship.

–  Hebrews 11: 3

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

–   By faith we know that God creates the worlds by the the Word.

–  Worlds refers to the visible world and the invisible world.

– The visible comes from the invisible

–  The natural must reflect the super natural.

Understanding how our relationship with God works will be a great key to develop great relationship with our spouse, our children and people around us.

We must be influenced by the kingdom of heaven system to influence everything around us.

How we can enjoy the benefits of relationship?

1- Be free from complacency.

I am taking a detour by reading this scripture, but it will enable us to understand the danger of complacency.

The complacency is a silent enemy that keeps us from stepping into our inheritance.

Complacency is agreeing with your situation,  making partnership with your situation and not taking advantage of the connection and the relationship we have to maximize and utilize the possibility that is set before us.

Luke 16:19-31

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivest thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:

For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

There is a purpose with every connection.

We must take advantage of the benefits of our relationship with God and it will change everything around us.

We all are called to a relationship with God.

We should be free from complacency.

Our relationship with God is an invitation to join the divinity.

We are not in to by loving God, but also we must live in the fulfillment of our divine destiny and our full potential.

2- We must perceive in order to receive

–  Behind every concept there is a precept.

–  Concept is a conclusion of a thought.

–  Precept is the idea that bring the concept: The finished product.

God will always allow us to be with people whom their condition is way better than ours  so that we can perceive in the spiritual world or he would allow us to see or hear things that are way greater than what we are facing to help us see beyond our box.

God never cries for our condition, He always speaks words that are opposite to  our situation to help us see beyond.

God looks over the earth and sees a generation that live in sin, He said: I will give them heaven citizenship and also allowing them to join the Royal Family so that they  can align themselves to this wonderful status, but we  said: Let’s just love him and praise him, Hallelujah, amen.

John 1:12

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

God saw a people that was in captivity and they have to stay there for 70 more years, God said: I know the thought that I form on you, thoughts of peace and not evil so that you can have a hope a future.

Romans 5:20

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Abraham was in a small place, with his family and his people, God has called him to a relationship with him and God said: Out of you will come nations.

Peter was in a relationship with Jesus and Jesus said to him: Now heaven is open on you: whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Gideon was born in a very small family, he had no war experience and God sent an angel to him and the angel said to him: Mighty hero.

God was preparing him to receive what this Relationship will bring to him.

Balaam was on his way to curse God’s people and God said to Balaam: My people are blessed.

Balaam went and saw the people were worshiping idols, living with stranger women in the tents, and were doing all kind of nonsense. Balaam said: The people are blessed.

The people of Corinth were doing all kind of crazy things Paul was not happy, but the holly spirit made Paul called them saints.

Our relationship has nothing to do with what we do, it is a call that asks humanity to join divinity.

We never take advantage of that, we still think like humanity, but love the divinity.

When our life gets messed up and everything is upside down, God’s grace is looking for us and Humanity is calling us to join the divinity.

So that we can shift our mind to think according to what God called us, but we want to say that we are flesh and blood while our body is our house.

Our spirit is recreated, the spirit of God lives in our spirit, we are a new creature.

God is raising a generation of dominion.

Daniel 7:18

But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Daniel 17:27

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

God is raising up a generation of Cornelius.

A generation that wants enjoy every benefit of their relationship with God.

Acts 10:48

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.  

For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

–  They speak in tongue, but the process was not microwaved. They were experiencing water baptism also.

There is a need for a generation that wants more.

A generation of Eunuch.

He has received the revelation of Christ, but he also wanted water baptism.

Acts 8:36

Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Do you want to be part of the generation that wants to enjoy every benefit of a relationship with God and bring the influence of it in your relationship with your spouse, your children and everyone around you?

We all must follow the heavenly model in our daily life, from the wonderful relationship that exists between the father son and holly spirit and also to respond to the invitation to join to divinity. This is a key to live a great horizontal relationship.

There must be a generation that wants to receive everything a relationship with God has to offer.

We must want more!
