#185 Easter Benefits

1 Corinthians 15:16-20 NLT 

“And if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins …
In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.”

John 19:30
“When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” (Paid In Full!!!) Then he bowed his head and released his spirit.”

Revelation 21:6
“And He said to me, ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.” 

John 20:1-10 READ IT ALL!!!
“Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.”

It is finished! But I’m not done yet. I will still be working towards a specific end.
Jesus is alive and at work today bringing into manifestation His new creation!!!

The napkin is folded. The tomb is empty. He is not done yet. Custom of folding napkin.
 The price for our ransom is paid in full: but Jesus is alive to enforce His covenant of love.

1. He’s Still Restoring Lives
John 20:16 “Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him…Master.”
Mary … her whole world had changed because of Jesus … who would be there now?
Mark 16:7 “…tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him,…”
Peter specifically named … he had denied Jesus

2. He’s Still Walking Through Locked Doors
Hiding … terrified … They will think we stole the body … what do we do now?
John 20:26 “And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.”

3. He’s Still Performing Miracles
John 21:6 “And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.”
4. He’s Still Healing The Sick
Acts 3:16 “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”

5. He’s Still Pouring Out His Spirit
Acts 2:32-33 “This Jesus God has raised up, …and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.”

6. He Still Has The Keys
Revelation 1:18 “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.”
Revelation 3:7 “He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”

7. He’s Coming Back Again
Revelation 22:12-13
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”
