1 John 5:19
“We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.”

Isaiah 60:1-5
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people;
(How do we deal with the darkness?  GLORY!
What is it? How do I get it?)

But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.
(SEEN … the focus is on you manifesting Gods goodness and grace)

The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
“Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.

GLORY:— “Kabowd” glory, honour, glorious abundance, riches splendour, dignity, reputation.
root — to be heavy or weighed down.
God Himself and everything that God has to offer.  Holy Spirit, Kingdom, Miracles

Principle of first use:
Genesis 13:2 “Abram was very rich (kabad) in livestock, in silver, and in gold.”
Genesis 31:1 “Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this glory (kabowd).”

John 17:22-23
“And the glory which You gave Me I have given them (Perfect tense:— Completely done, finished, Once and for all, efficacious now and forever), that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

Glory “Doxa”:— splendour, brightness, magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, grace
Romans 3:23
“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,…”
Hebrews 2:10
“For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory,…”

1 Chronicles 13:3
“…let us bring the ark of our God back to us…”
I want God’s presence with us!!!

2 Sa. 6:6-16, / 1 Ch. 13:5-14
Ark stumbled at Nachon, Chidon.
“Nachon”:– preparation        “Chidon”:– javelin, ruin
David’s failure to prepare became his ruin.
VS.12 “David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God to me?”

1 Chronicles 13:9-12
And when they came to Chidon’s[b] threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled. 10 Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God. 11 And David became angry because of the Lord’s outbreak against Uzza; therefore that place is called Perez Uzza[c] to this day. 12 David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God to me?”

David thought he would bring the presence of God to town with strength and might, driving an ox cart, just like the philistines did.
“Uzzah” :— strength, might
“Ahio” :— resembling, just like    Not by might or by power but by my SPIRIT

1 Chronicles 13:14
“The ark of God remained with the family of Obed-Edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that he had.”   All Obed-Edom did was open his door.

1 Chronicles 15:13-14,
“For because you did not do it the first time, the Lord our God broke out against us, because we did not consult Him about the proper order. … bore the ark of God on their shoulders, by its poles, … they offered seven bulls and seven rams.” (BLOOD)

Access to the Glory is found exclusively through the blood of Jesus.
His gracious act of redemption has granted you access to His presence!!!

Obed Edom welcomed God’s presence into His house.
Progression Of Godly Addiction:
1. You Leave Familiar Things     1 Chronicles 15:21 “Obed-Edom”
Galatians 5:25 “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”

2. You Become A Servant
1 Chronicles 15:24, 26:8   “…Obed-Edom and Jehiah, doorkeepers for the ark.”
1 Corinthians 10:31  “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

3. You Are Given Authority
1 Chronicles 26:15  “…to Obed-Edom the South Gate, and to his sons the storehouse.”
Luke 10:19   “I have given you authority … to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”

4. You Are Given Provision
1 Chronicles 26:15  “…to his sons the storehouse.”
Philippians 4:19  “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

5 You Are Given His Trust
2 Chronicles 25:24  “And he took all the gold and silver, all the articles that were found in the house of God with Obed-Edom”
Colossians 1:27  “…riches of the glory … which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Access to the Glory is found exclusively through the blood of Jesus.
