#148 Benefits #3: Redeemed
Psalm 103:1-5 “…And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things,So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Psalm 103:3 “Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,”
These are linked together in the Bible. They go together. If you have one then you have the other.
1 Peter 2:24 “…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”
Knowledge of forgiveness does remove the reproach or condemnation from our lives.
How do you get healed?
Same way you got forgiveness.
He graciously provided it and you by believing Him received it.

5 OBSERVATIONS:
1. The Fall Caused Crippling
2 Samuel 4:4 “…he fell, and became lame…”
In Adam humanity fell and has lost any ability to help itself.
2. A King Has A Word To Keep
1Samuel 20:15-16 “…thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever:… Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David,…”
A covenant/promise to fulfill. Genesis 3:15 “…her Seed; He shall bruise your head,…”
3. Ignorance Results Barrenness
1 Samuel 9:4 “…Lo Debar…” No Promise
John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
4. Love Of Another Is Qualifier
2 Samuel 9:7 “…I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake,…”
Ephesians 1:6 “…to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”
5. Restoration Is The Purpose
2 Samuel 9:9 “…I have given unto thy master’s son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.”
Ephesians 2:6 “…made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”
4 Greek Words For Redeem:
1. Agorazo: The marketplace for slaves.

2. Exagorazo: Out of the marketplace for slaves.
Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law,…”
Jesus came to redeem us—buy us out of the slave market so we could never be put on the slave block again.
3. Lutrosis: The full payment of a slave.
Hebrews 9:12 “…but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.” The highest price that has ever been paid for anyone was paid for us—the blood of Jesus.
4. Apolutrosis: The full payment of a slave’s freedom. Return to original slate. Never a slave again

Jesus brought us out so we will never be slaves again.
Jesus paid the highest price that could be paid. The blood of GOD.
Jesus paid for our freedom. We are not slave again we are SONS and DAUGHTERS of GOD!!!
