#129 I’ll Get to it Tomorrow

I’ll Get to it Tomorrow
Pastor D Karl Thomas
Sunday, March 16

That project around the house…    /  Christmas shopping on the 24th.      /    All Nighter!!!
Dog was lying on his back.   /    Whatever, I’m going for Poutine!!!    /     Squirrel!!!

Exodus 8:1-15 “And Moses said to Pharaoh, ‘Accept the honor of saying when I shall intercede for you, for your servants, and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your houses, that they may remain in the river only.’”

“So he said, ‘Tomorrow.’”

“And he said, ‘Let it be according to your word, that you may know that there is no one like the Lord our God. And the frogs shall depart from you, from your houses, from your servants, and from your people. They shall remain in the river only.’”

Revelation 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs … For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

I’ll depend on God tomorrow!  Why choose one more moment of depending on your own strength when you can rest in the finished work of Christ right now?  It is your choice every moment of every day.

3 Actions To Help You Break Free:

1. Deal With Perfectionism
Ecclesiastes 11:4 (Living Bible) “If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.”

2. Embrace Accountability
The longer you put God off the more comfortable you are doing it.
Hebrews 3:7-8 “Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,”

3. Focus – What Really Matters?
Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Has God been speaking to you?
Forgive — Believe — Act — Witness — Give

Declutter your heart
1 Samuel 18:9 “So from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David.” Saul should have dealt with this!
Genesis 4:6-8 “Why are you so angry?” the Lord asked Cain … Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.”  Cain saw his brother as the problem

Luke 4:18-21 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,[a]To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”  Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

2 Corinthians 6:2 “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

John 2:10 “You have kept the good wine until now!”

DAVID
1 Samuel 17:46 “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you.”

SHAMMAH
2 Samuel 23:11-12 “But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.”

BARTIMAEUS
Mark 10:48 “Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

WOMAN WITH ISSUE OF BLOOD
Matthew 9:20 “And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment.”

2 Corinthians 6:2 “Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.”
“Right now God is ready to welcome you. Today he is ready to save you.”
