10 Days Of Prayer 2019 – Day# 7, “Attitude”

Creation is full of fresh starts. Every New Year is like an opportunity to reset … to start over …to transition… New Beginnings!!!
“You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.”Psalm 65:11
“His compassions fail not. They are new every morning;” Lam 3:22-23
To transition well you must have the proper attitude.
“Columbia, your attitude is perfect.”
NASA to the space shuttle entering the atmosphere.
Transitioning to another atmosphere demands the right attitude.
Charles Swindoll says, “The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important: than facts, than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do, than appearances, than giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company. . . a church. . . a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. . . We are in charge of our attitudes.”
Philippians 2:5-7
“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave.”
What or who do you sacrificially serve right now?
Paul lived his live on purpose!

5 Obstacles To The Right Attitude1.
Arrogance
“Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect…” vs12
Stay green …there is more to learn … there is more growth.
2. Arrival
“I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]…” vs 13
I have arrived … Good enough … wrong comparisons … We should only desire to be like Him!
3. Affections
“…but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind…”
Not things … thing! Things get in the way.
He is my one holy passion. He orders my world aright. I follow Him!
4. Accomplishments
“…forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,…”
We had great revivals … I was an honours student … I did this I did that … so what!!!
What is happening now? What is God doing now? What does He want to accomplish through you NOW?!!!
5. Apathy
“I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize…”vs14
Paul understood his responsibility to actively and aggressively pursue the prize.
Don’t get bogged down. Pursue and recover all!!!
“Let this mindbe in you…” Php 2:5 KJV
DEFINITION
Attitude:– tendency or orientation, especially of the mind. Mindset.
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Col 3:2
“Fix your thoughts on what is true,…”Php 4:8 {NLT}
“Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds seton what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds seton what the Spirit desires.” Romans 8:5
3 F’s of a healthy Attitude.
“Wherefore gird up the loins…( Osphus:—the place where the Hebrews thought the generative power (semen) resided. Your mind is your procreative tool. Your world is shaped in your thinking. Think right)…of your mind,…” 1 Peter 1:13
Fix Your Mind — Focus — Think on good thing … things above
Filter Your Mind — Analyze — Keep the junk out
Feed Your Mind — Nourish — Meditate on the WORD!!!
The saddest places on earth are graveyards. Graveyards are filled with books that were never written, songs that were never sung, words that were never spoken, things that were never done.
God does the extraordinary with ordinary people. Those who allow their weakness to be turned to strength.
Prayer Directives:
God Use Me This Year! God use me today!
Put Me In Places And Situations That Will Unlock My Compassion And Creativity.
Put Me In Challenging Relationships With Those Who I Can Give My Strength To.
Put The Wisdom In Me That Will Cause Me To Be A Solution Wherever I Go.
Bless our plans as a fellowship. we want to be aggressive with our faith. People need Jesus. Jesus wants to express His love for others through us.
London will be saved. South western Ontario will be flooded with Impact communities.
Bless all our families. Bless all the children youth and young adults as they head back to school. They are blessed and advantaged. Saturated with the Holy Spirit.

After looking into the wide angle mirror I knew I had to, must, imperatively (is that a word?) do something about this over abundance of ME! SO my prayer initiative is part of Filter Your Mind — Analyze — Keep the junk out . I need to keep the junk out of my body as well.

Agreeing today. All our kids, youth and young adults, teachers…a happy day -blessed, safe, advantaged, world changers full of compassion and creativity!

I pray that You Lord would help us to be fully present and fully engaged today, in the now moment. I pray that we would be focused and clear each day about what really matters and help us to not be bogged down and sidetracked by the things that don’t really matter. Help us to manifest your wisdom and bring solutions and creative expressions of your mind to our lives and the problems around us. Thank you that London and SW Ontario will see your salvation and manifold wisdom manifest in a truly exportable and reproductive way. In Jesus name, let it be!
You’ve got some moves Pastor Karl! Attitude is a big deal! Lord give us the right attitude and mindset. Energize us with a passion from your throne room as we pray and witness for SW Ontario in Jesus name.
This needs to go viral! Ha ha! Loving and praying all of the directives today. Believing all transition well back into their daily routines. Believing God helps me with my attitude, mindset, creativity, and solutions. Believing God has blessed our plans.
Use all of us this year as we adjust and focus our attitudes. Give us an attitude of faith to move in the impossible!

Today is my first time
responding to prayer directives in this season of prayer. So good! May we be so mindful that we are your representatives here on earth. May our attitudes, thoughts and mouths only reflect you. May we learn to draw from your grace in doing so. And may it be so evident to all around us that we ARE growing in reflecting you in all ways!!
Thank you Holy Spirit for helping me and my brothers and sisters to push away all the negative thoughts when they come. Give us a heart of love!
Thanks Pastor Karl 0 your dance moves had me laughing out loud. You are a great representative of being able to be childlike in your joy (not childish!) I totally agree with the quote from Chuck Swindoll. Lord help me in my responses to others around me. Lord put a watch before my mouth and nudge me when I’ve said enough! More than that though. Help me to always realize how my attitude affects others in my day (spouses, children, grandchildren, friends, and strangers who could be my new friends ) I am looking forward to more divine appointments where you can lead me to become a solution to help others. God is great and in Him we are able to accomplish all in life. God ,this is my prayer each and every day to create in me a clean heart and a contrite Spirit. With the Holy Spirit in us we will able to control our attitudes, so many times we fail in this area by allowing the flesh man to take control in our lives. This is a new Year , Lord you helps us to control our attitudes.
Our attitude will make us or break us, so each day he have to crucify the flesh.
Start the day with the Word, communicate with the Father and Mediate on the Word.
Yes trials and temptations will come our way, but Christ in us we will able to overcome, He did it and we have the Victory.
This is my prayer for each and everyone of us that we have great victory in Christ this Year.
New beginnings and great breakthrough.

I pray today Father that we would have the same attitude as Christ Jesus. We would be Comforted in Your love, fellowship in Holy Spirit, have tender hearts, agreeing wholeheartedly with each other working together with one mind and purpose for Your Glory in Jesus Name amen
Lord Jesus I thank you that as we move into new each day that we can do it with with your mind and your attitude toward every person and situation we encounter.
I pray today for a special blessing for each student as they go back to school.Give them an eagerness to learn. I also lift each teacher to you that you would bless them with every thing needed to pour into their students.

I absolutely love your attitude Karl and of course the dance moves. This was a wonderful challenge. My attitude is too inconsistent. Praise God that I am free and can always start anew from the moment before!!!
My first comment didn’t post and I was ready to get super annoyed, literally seconds after realizing my attitude needs a tune up lol. So instead of being annoyed I will celebrate that I get to try to comment again. Like my attitude issues I Praise God that I can start anew every moment that my attitude slips. Thank you Karl for the inspiration and of course the sweet dance moves. Praise God we get to always bring forth an attitude of love and excitement.
We could all stand to keep our attitude on our mind. With attitude, ideas are formed and shared. With attitude you choose how your day is going to go. And how you react to the world and the people in it. Does your attitude allow you to thrive or take you to a dead end? How does your attitude deal with dead ends? Is it a rocky road or just the speed bump? Only you can decide and your attitude can aide you in that decision.
